Encounters with Noosphere
According to AI, noosphere is the “sphere of human thought,” a philosophical concept describing the “planet of reason” or global consciousness formed by human minds, culture, and technology.

As in the past, it is my intent to share with my readers information that happens to be on my mind and perhaps connects to current and past events on our “planet of reason.” Rarely do I have an original thought, but often I encounter information from the noosphere that serendipitously aligns with poets, writers, artists, and Mother Nature in a manner that coaxes me to share specific information with others. Although we have moved from Merry Mount, I will continue to use aplacecalledmerrymount.com as the platform on which I reach out to you.
from Song of Myself
I celebrate myself, and sing myself,
And what I assume you shall assume,
For every atom belonging to me as good belongs to you.
Stop this day and night with me and you shall possess the origin of all poems,
You shall possess the good of the earth and the sun, (there are millions of suns left,)
You shall no longer take things of second or third hand, nor look through the eyes of the dead, nor feed on the spectres in books,
You shall not look through my eyes either, nor take things from me,
You shall listen to all sides and filter them from yourself.
-Walt Whitman

So as I dip into the noosphere, I will continue to offer you these blogposts with the hope that they will encourage thought and maybe provoke response.
